Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can't make one hair white or black. But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one. 'You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.'* But I tell you, don't resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also. If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also. Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and don't turn away him who desires to borrow from you. 'You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor,* and hate your enemy.*' But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven.

	Jesus healed me of depression

I would like to share the testimony of my healing. I suffered from depression for several years. Neither visits to a psychiatrist nor medication helped me. Slowly, I was learning to live with the disease, but it was very hard. During that time, I drew closer to God. Once, when I was losing hope of ever coming out of it, a friend and I started to recite the Divine Mercy Novena. On the eighth day of the novena, I realised that I was feeling perfectly normal; I was amazed by what was happening to me. Then I realised that we had just completed praying the Divine Mercy Novena.

Jesus healed me of depression

On the same day, a friend visited me and said that she was returning from the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki, where at 3 o’clock she had prayed for my health.

Since then, I have been feeling well, and when nagging thoughts come back to me, I confidently turn to the Lord Jesus, and they go away.

Thank you Lord Jesus and St Faustina for my health and the vastness of the graces I have received.
