“I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.                “You shall have no other gods before me.                “You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me, and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.                “You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.                “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. You shall labor six days, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy.                “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.                “You shall not murder.                “You shall not commit adultery.                “You shall not steal.                “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.                “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Our editorial team receives letters from people who with courage and confidence entrust their youth and their entire lives to Jesus by joining the Movement of Pure Hearts. Here are some extracts from those letters:

The foundation without which nothing can last

I want to live in purity for Christ. I want to keep for Him a pure heart, body, mind, thoughts, words and deeds. I know that I cannot manage on my own, so I constantly pray to Christ for the grace of perseverance.

Magdalene

For me, an article about the Movement of Pure Hearts was like a breath of fresh air in the stifling web of sin. Thanks to your magazine, the Lord God spoke to me. Thank you very much for your hard work! May the Lord bless you with endless graces!

Serhiy Mykolayowycz

After much consideration, I decided to join the Movement of Pure Hearts. I believe that only the true love that comes from God and has nothing to do with selfishness or passing pleasures will give me true freedom and happiness. I know it won’t be easy, as there are traps for purity lurking at our every step and people living in sexual abstinence are ridiculed and considered abnormal. In Christ, I will persevere in all my vows and will live in purity of heart and body.

Ania

We are twenty and eighteen. We’ve been friends for more than two years. We both look forward to the future with hope and faith. The future of dreams. However, we want to create this future as three people – with Jesus. He is the foundation without which nothing can last. And that’s why we decided to join the Movement of Pure Hearts. We want to live in purity, so that our love is strong through God. We would also like to ask you to record our names in the Book of Pure Hearts and to send us your blessing, but above all to pray – for our perseverance in this decision.

Ula and Michal

When I stood at a crossroads in my life, I decided to join the Movement of Pure Hearts. I told myself that despite all my failures in life and the fact that I’m already twenty-seven, all is not yet lost. It is time to start a new life!
