Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you                Pray without ceasing                For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you                And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him                Through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God                Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven                Verily I say unto you, It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven                It is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God

Love One Another

Nominated for the Nobel Prize in the field of medicine by the Paris Institute of Sciences, Simone Morabito is one of Italy’s leading medical doctors. He is the inventor and patent-holder of a revolutionary computerized clinical diagnostic system. Specializing in surgery, he completed his medical studies with highest honors in 1960 at the age of 24. Later, he went on to specialize in other fields: psychiatry, neurology, psychotherapy, and pediatrics.

In his book, entitled Psichiatra all’inferno (Psychiatry in Hell), Dr. Morabito states that in the course of his many years of professional practice, he has had occasion to treat hundreds of cases of demonic possession. He insists that in Italy alone there are thousands of patients stricken by this terrible malady, which goes unrecognized and incorrectly diagnosed simply because most physicians are unaware of the existence of the personal power of evil. To recognize this malady one needs faith. Only a believing and prayerful physician, in cooperation with an exorcist priest, is able to diagnose cases of demonic possession correctly. Morabito claims that every one of us is guided by the imperative: I believe what I experience. “In the light of my credo,” observes Morabito, “and as a man of science and conscience, I have had the opportunity of observing cases of demonic possession, and this with the aid of sophisticated medical instruments. When these patients undergo exorcism, they find themselves in a state of total amnesia. They have no recollection of their terrifying cries, their grotesque psychomotor reactions, their prescience, clairvoyant experiences, and other supernatural phenomena.”
Morabito stresses that the possessed are not sick in a strictly clinical sense; and yet the malady they suffer inflicts pain not only on themselves but also on all those with whom they come in contact. Only in rare cases does the condition impair the person’s intelligence, will, and inner life. Hence people suffering from possession are able to hold responsible positions, work as politicians, lawyers, or students, and carry out their duties competently. However, they do on occasion experience severe anguish that can be documented scientifically. At such moments, it is as if another person of an appalling nature were acting within them. The evil spirits present in such a patient manifest themselves in a spectacular way during the rite of exorcism, which attests to the infinite power of prayer. Prayer unmasks the evil spirits, who then reveal the full extent of their destructive power.
During an exorcism, the evil spirits taking over a person are capable of making an old man leap like youthful acrobat. A possessed person is able to speak languages he has never learned, scream blasphemies and curses, deride and mock, bend and twist metal objects as if they were cooked macaroni. Moreover, they can read other people’s thoughts and reveal the hidden secrets of those present at the exorcism — especially the sins they have committed (even many, many years ago) and not confessed to a Catholic priest in the Sacrament of Penance. Unclean spirits will typically react with unimaginable fury on hearing the names of Jesus and His Blessed Mother. During exorcisms, Dr. Morabito has seen patients bang their head repeatedly against the wall with such strength and violence that one such blow should have killed them outright; and yet they incur no observable bruise or swelling. People possessed by demons are able to command such prodigious physical strength that even five of six grown men are hard put to restrain them; and all the time hatred burns in their eyes.
Dr. Morabito has observed unbelievers and people skeptically inclined to spiritual life. Seeing what takes place at an exorcism, many have returned to practice their faith anew, to pray and receive the sacraments. Possession by Satan is no hallucination — insists Dr. Morabito — for the person so enslaved manifests strange phenomena that can be observed and experienced objectively. He cites the example of a lecturer at the University of Turin who repeatedly woke up in the mornings to find his head completely shaved. Another time Satan made horizontal incision marks over his entire body with the precision of a skilled surgeon.
There are many causes of demonic possession. Morabito cites the example of one patient he has treated for many years for severe mental illness. He had attended a spiritist séance, resulting in an evil spirit taking possession of him. But perhaps the worst form of possession takes place as a result of praying directly to Satan. Dr. Morabito observes that possession is common among those who give themselves over to the power of an evil spirit by consulting psychics, fortune-tellers, and clairvoyants, attending séances and satanic black masses, and listening to satanic music. The only protection against this terrible enslavement to Satan is to remain in a state of sanctifying grace — through a lively faith, prayer, and the Sacraments of and Holy Communion. Another effective help against the powers of evil are sacramentals, such as holy water, holy oil, blessed salt, as well as blessed crucifixes and the miraculous medal of the Immaculate Conception, which Our Blessed Mother presented to St. Catherine Labouré upon appearing to her in Paris on rue du Bac.
Morabito is convinced that there is a program of world domination by the Satanic Church of La Veya, which began in California and, thanks to the New Age Movement, is now spreading its cult throughout the world. At the movement’s disposal are hundreds of publishing houses and bookstores as well as satanic rock groups, which promote drug-use, debauchery, and pornography. In this way, the adherents and sympathizers of this organization, mostly young people, become willing tools and slaves of evil.
Among other things, Morabito’s book, Psichiatra all’inferno), is a stern warning to parents against the dangers threatening their children. The unprecedented number of teen suicides, murders, the rejection of parents and everything connected with religion — all these are clear manifestations of enslavement to evil. Only one Physician can free us from this enslavement — Jesus Christ, Who lives and acts in His Church under the maternal care of His Blessed Mother, Immaculate Mary. Morabito stresses that beside the Church of Satan there is the Church of Jesus Christ, which for two thousand years has been leading souls to union with Jesus Christ, that they may share in His victory over Satan, sin and death.
