And if thy foot cause thee to stumble, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter into life halt, rather than having thy two feet to be cast into hell, where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. We live in Tacoma on the West Coast of the United States. In the winter of 1989, our son Don, then aged 29, went on a ski trip with his friends to National Olympic Park. One day he fainted and fell to the ground. His condition was so grave that his friends had to carry him out of the Park.
